The District Collector has been given authority over land availibility for the population. Under the Bhu Adhikar Scheme, The maximum size of the plot that can beused is 60 square metres.
Under Bhu Adhikar Yojana Madhya Pradesh, only those families are eligible to apply who are residents of the respective villages. The term “Family” refers here to a husband and wife, their unmarried sons and daughters.
A village-by-village list of all eligible families will be published, allowing concerned locals to voice their concerns and suggestions. There will be 10 days period for inviting objections and suggesstions. The applicants can apply through an online portal named “SAARA Portal”.

Eligibility for Bhu Adhikar Scheme Madhya Pradesh
Persons who are eligible
The applicant must be the citizen of Madhya Pradesh.
The applicant or his family must not own any house.
Only the citizens who dont own any land and rely on cuasual work for a living are eligible to apply for Bhu Adhikar Scheme.
The Families with no male or adult member in the age category of 16 to 59 years are also eligible to apply.
Persons who are not eligible
If any member of the family pays income taxes or works for the government, he will not be eligible to apply for this scheme.
The families who are not eligible to get ration from the Public Distribution System shop, also will not be able to apply under this scheme.
The Families who own more than 5 acres of land, will not be able to apply.
Mukhyamantri Awasiya Yojana is aimed at providing plots to all families who do not own home. The state government will provide these plots free of cost to all the homeless citizens of the state.
The beneficiaries can also apply under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to build their own house after getting plot under MP Land Rights scheme. The government has also released guidelines for allotment of blocks on Abadi Land in rural areas.
The Bhu Adhikar Yojana Mukhyamantri Madhya Pradesh will also improve the standard of living of state’s citizens. In additional benefit, the citizens of the state will also be able to obtain bank loans using these plots.
